We will never forget you, may our prayers and thoughts be with you. Amen.
Rufus, our loving companion age 14 passed away the night of 11/30/15 because he was in a terrible physical state which could not be cured. We first started noticing signs of the end when he was having trouble walking and carrying out everyday functions. We took him to the vet about a week ago to see what was wrong and the doctor said that it was a severe case of arthritis pain in the back hind legs and a bit of senile dementia too. At first it seemed that with treatment the problem would get better but unfortunately that was not the case. A couple of days later his condition seemed to have worsened so we took him to the vet where they said it is best at this point to put him out of his misery, we were all devastated that night and gave our prayers to him. Rufus was adopted in 2001 from a humane animal shelter that cares for lost animals, and we had many good times together. We took very good care of him and we gave him a moment of silence that night. He has had a wonderful life but it's time for him to carry on now, the only reason I slept that night is because I know he is in a better place now. We have another dog named Bella and we also give our moment of silence to her also because her brother will no longer be there for her. I completely understand how hard it is to loose what you love and I kindly ask anyone reading this to please take a few minutes of your time to remember this beautiful life that has been lost. WE LOVE YOU RUFUS, WE WILL NEVER FORGET ABOUT YOU! I want to give a quick shoutout to my friends and family who have been affected by this. UNITED WE STAND! I am honored to know he has been admitted to the Kingdom of Heaven. I would also like to give a shoutout to anyone who has lost their loving companion(s).
